Tracey Hopkins started her career in the Property Management industry at seventeen as a leasing consultant. Three months later she was promoted to manager and proceeded to manage properties throughout Texas. By the age of 21 she took on the role of District Manager which came with a portfolio that struggled with an occupancy average in the low 70’s. In the process of turning operational performance around, she realized marketing was her calling. Tracey joined Daseke Management Company of America aka Walden Residential Properties aka Walden Concierge aka Milestone. in March of 1991 in the newly created role of Marketing Facilitator. As Walden grew into the 3rd largest REIT at that time, so did Tracey’s responsibilities and she was named Vice President over Marketing & Training. Supported by a team of 8 regional marketing directors, she was responsible for the creation & delivery of the training in all aspects of property management as well as for corporate and onsite marketing programs. Tracey was responsible for the creation and rollout of global programs from corporate ID and branding to employee recognition and the like. Additionally, she oversaw the interior, signage & collateral design for the repositioning of over 100 properties with an average of 300 units. Her analysis and projections for proposed acquisitions also played a key role in the company’s explosive growth. In December of 1997, Tracey moved on with fellow colleagues to help start Archon Residential, a rapidly expanding, full service asset management company responsible for the worldwide real estate holdings of Goldman Sachs. As the VP of Marketing / Training for the management company, she also worked closely with asset managers in the planning and promotion of the newly developed communities. In September of 2000, Tracey opened her own company, Jumpstart Marketing, where she consults with owners, operators and investors in all areas of the multifamily housing industry. One popular service is a Property Marketing Jumpstart, where in less than 48 hrs, issues will be identified and solutions provided for properties and teams that are not performing up to expectations.

She is a sought after professional speaker with a humorous style on topics that span not only the apartment industry but on topics about life as well. Tracey resides in Frisco Texas and is a mom of three adult children.
